Derpy Hooves in DC Universe Online

Another of my attempts to recreate a character from 'My little Pony: Friendship is Magic' in the superhero online game called 'DC Universe Online'.

"Apple Bloom, what are you doing? Put that stick down this instant, ya hear me? You could hurt somepony," Applejack said.

"That was kinda the point, big sis," the little girl in front of her chuckled. "What's the matter? Aren't you tough enough to stand up against your little sister?"

"Yeah, what's wrong, Rainbow Dash?" Scootaloo smirked. "Come on over here and show me a couple of your great moves. Maybe I'll be able to be as awesome as you are once I kill you."

"Wha... what are you saying, squirt?" Rainbow Dash stuttered. She couldn't believe her ears. Here was the little filly that had looked up at her as a hero, and now she wanted to kill her with a dagger. She looked over to her friends, who were just as stunned as she was. Rarity looked like she was ready to burst into tears when she saw her sister lick the edge of one of the axes she was wielding, grinning like a maniac. Fluttershy covered her face with her hands and sobbed, hoping that the nightmare would end.

As for Twilight, she at least tried to maintain some of her composure. "Girls, this isn't funny in the least. Stop whatever you're doing or we'll have to take you home and tell your parents."

"Think you're so smart, Twilight?" Apple Bloom asked. "Try to take some action for once. You want us to come along? Then come and get us!"

"All right... enough is enough!" Applejack shouted. "You stop acting like that this instant, missy! And don't think I won't tell Big Macintosh or Granny Smith about this!" She stepped for to grab Apple Bloom by the wrist, to wrestle the nailed plank out of her grasp... but the girl effortlessly dodged the grab and swung around her weapon. "Gotcha!" she chuckled as she hit the taller girl's arm. Applejack cried out in pain when the sharp nails created a bloody wound. But far worse than the physical pain was the pain of betrayal.

"Applejack!" her friends shouted in horror. Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie ran forward to pin Apple Bloom to the ground. "Why did you hurt Applejack like that?" Pinkie Pie shouted. Her hair wasn't all poofy like it used to be, instead, it hung down straight, showing the former pink pony's misery. But then she felt a strange tingle, as if her Pinkie sense wanted to tell her something. It was too late to react, however, when the plank hit her on the forehead... fortunately, with the blunt edge this time. Still, it was like a shock to Pinkie that a cute, innocent foal could act like that. Rainbow quickly let go of Apple Bloom to grab her friend before she could fall down to the ground.

"Don't you see? If you really want us to stop, you better use every bit of power you have. Or else you might end up hurt... or worse," Sweetie Belle smiled.

"How can you say such a thing?" Rarity cried. "I would never want to hurt you."

"Well, you better start using your magic if you don't want to find out just how sharp my axes are," the little monster with her sister's face replied.

"I'd rather die than see you hurt!" Rarity sobbed.

Sweetie Belle snickered. "If that is your wish..." She raised her axes... and cried out when a pair of batarangs came smacking into her wrists, causing her to drop her weapons. "OW! Who did that?"

All around them, members of the Justice League had appeared. Superman, Wonder Woman, the Flash, Green Arrow... and, of course, Batman. The caped crusader glared at the three little girls with no sign of remorse in his eyes.

"What did you do?" Rarity shouted. "Don't hurt my sister!"

"Whatever that thing is, it's not your sister," Batman stated. "Neither of them are your relatives."

"What?" Applejack gasped and looked back at the girl who looked like Apple Bloom. "What do you mean, she's not my sister? What are you talking about?"

"Remember when Lex Luthor gave you three hours to come here? He didn't think you would come earlier. But you arrived here half an hour after seeing his message. And instead of waiting, his three little minions approached you as soon as you came."

"So what? What does that have to do with anything?" Twilight asked.

"The place where Luthor was holding the girls hostage? It's an abandoned warehouse on the other side of town. There's no way he could have brought them all the way here in half an hour. And our scanners didn't pick up any spatial anomalies, so teleportation was out of the question. Logically, these three persons can't be the same we saw on the video."

Everyone looked at the three girls that looked like the Cutie Mark Crusaders, but were something different. "But... if they aren't my sister and her friends... who are they?" Applejack asked.

"They are my soldiers, naturally," a calm voice spoke up... a voice of a person the ponies knew too well, a person they had hoped to never see again."

"The Changeling Queen!" Twilight gasped as she looked all up at the hovering form of the insectoid woman.

"Right you are, dear Twilight," she smiled. "It is I, Queen Chrysalis. And I will have my revenge." She looked at the three girls below her. "Take on your true form, my children. I had hoped we could settle this with tricks instead of force, but it seems the time to fight has come." With a green flash, the changelings turned back to normal... that is, into the humanoid form they had assumed in this dimension.

"I assume you know this woman," Superman said as he stepped next to Twilight.

She nodded. "Yes. She and her army of changelings threatened us before."

"So what is she gonna do?" Flash smirked. "She and her three tiny bug-men? Grodd was more of a problem than this."

"What made you think she was alone?" another voice spoke up. Accompanied by sparks of pure magic, more villains appeared around them. Circe, Clayface, Killer Frost, Bizarro, Cheetah, Gilda and at least two dozen more changelings.

"Circe!" Wonder Woman shouted when she recognized her archnemesis. "So you are behind all of this?"

"A pleasure as always, my dearest amazon princess," Circe chuckled. "I'm afraid it had to come to this. But why did you have to come and make things difficult? Didn't Luthor tell you not to help your pony friends? Oh, don't give me that look of surprise. Of course I know everything about them and their colorful world of magic. I learned a lot from my new apprentice and this helpful little griffin."

"Gilda?" Rainbow Dash gasped.

"No time for chitchat!" Clayface roared. "Attack them!"

And all chaos broke loose when each of the villains attacked at once. The members of the Justice League found themselves attacked by their old foes and their new allies. Changelings swarmed around Batman, taking on the form of Robin, Nightwing and Batgirl. Never hesitating once, the dark knight knocked them out, one after another. Circe flung spell after spell at Wonder Woman, who deflected every single one of them with her magical bracers. Clayface tried to hit Flash with all sorts of weapons he formed out of his body, but not a single one of them hit the speedster.

"Bizarro," Killer Frost said. "Superman is your best friend, right?"

"Bizarro am best friends with Superman," the white-skinned doppleganger grumbled. "Bizarro kill Superman." He inhaled and blew a hot plume of fire at the man of steel. Soon, the two powerhouses were up in the sky, clashing with each other.

Twilight dodged a blast fired by Chrysalis and was about to answer with a spell of her own, when her backside was raked by sharp claws. She cried in pain and her concentration was broken.

"Nobody ever taught you to take on two foes at once?" the Cheetah asked. "Well, then this will be a new experience for you, girl."

But before either of them could attack, Princess Luna came swooping down from the skies, wings spread and sword pointed at the Cheetah. "Back off, foul villain! Never again lay your hands on a fellow princess!"

"Princess Luna!" Twilight was overjoyed and almost forgot the pain.

"It is good to see you, Twilight Sparkle," Luna nodded. "My sister will join us soon, but for now, let us battle."

"Me too," Cadance said as she landed next to Twilight. "Long time no see, queenie." She glared at Chrysalis with unbridled disdain.

The battle went on for quite some time. Gilda saw how Pinkie and Fluttershy were keeping away from the fight, the pink-haired girl seemed to protect her shy friend. Seeing an opening, she dove at Pinkie and slammed her against a tree. Fluttershy yelped with fright at the sudden attack.

"Hiya, Pink!" Gilda smiled. "Miss me? Nothing personal, this is just a job. Oh, who am I kidding? I'm going to enjoy this a lot..."

Pinkie wanted to say something, but then she had a strange feeling. As if her tail was twitching, if she still had a tail. "Um, Gilda? You wanna move aside a bit?"

"Oh, do I? Just why would I do a stupid thing like that?" Gilda laughed.

A heavy metal crate then came falling out of the sky and dropped right on top of the former griffin's head. Gilda let out a grunt and fell down, knocked out.

"Delivery from Star Labs!" a cheerful voice shouted from up above. Pinkie looked up and saw a blonde, wall-eyed girl with grey, feathered wings.

"Oops... this isn't the Midtown MPD Station, is it?" she asked as she sheepishly scratched the back of her head. "My bad..."

Pinkie smiled and waved. "Hello, Derpy."
